The Cravings

It’s that time of the month again;

 The bleeding, the mood swings, the breakouts, the cramps

But worst of all,

 The cravings

 For something sweet, something salty, something familiar

Something warm, something safe.

 Every carb ingested just hugs my body like a teddy bear

And sticks like a permanent sharpie

 The cravings

 For anything that will give me endorphins

 For anything that will make me forget

 The cravings.
