Adam Silvera's They Both Die at the End
“For those that need to be reminded to make every day count”. New York Times bestselling author Adam Silvera did a phenomenal job with this book. Yes the title says it all, but it doesn’t take away from the ending one bit. I still cried. This book contains themes of LGBTQ+, death, trauma, friendship, love, and self-discovery. Within an alternate world, death-cast takes away from people’s lives everyday with a phone call that tells them they have one day to live. The story revolves around Mateo and Rufus, two boys who live in NY who are discovering how to live a life with no regrets. This book really makes you think about how you live your everyday life and how much we can take for granted. I highly recommend it! 5/5 – Brenda C.
